Terri Spottswood

Terri McNamara Spottswood, Truman & Company Real Estate Services, LLC., Broker, President and Partner. In addition to her real estate achievements, Terri is the proud mother of 4 children and recently two grandchildren.

Terri grew up in Miami Springs Florida, graduated from the University of Tampa in 1976, and returned to Miami Springs to begin her real estate career with her mother Elouise B. McNamara. Terri had a good teacher and mentor, Elouise had been a successful Broker, business owner, real estate investor, community leader, two-time President of the Miami Springs Board of REALTORS®, and active in the State and local organizations. Terri quickly was promoted to managing broker of the real estate firm.

In 1979 Terri married John M. Spottswood Jr. a 6th generation Key Wester and partner in the law firm of Spottswood, Spottswood, and Spottswood. Terri moved to Key West where she continued her career selling real estate. She joined the real estate firm of Edward B. Knight, her second mentor and teacher, which later merged with Prudential in 1993. Terri set records each year for Prudential Knight earning the “Top Producer” award for five consecutive years. In addition, Terri also gained national status by repeatedly achieving the most distinguished awards of “Chairman’s Circle” and “Legend”.In 2004 Terri and three other specialized high-end NAR Members talked about a firm that would allow them to provide exceptional customer service. They founded the boutique firm of Truman & Co. Real Estate Services which has become the go-to firm for customers demanding the highest level of attention to their real estate needs.
